I love lazy Saturday mornings, the sound of a giggling baby, the glow of a beautiful sunset, snuggling and laughing with my kids, Mexican food and a good margarita, road trips, curling up with a good book on a rainy day, knitting while watching a movie, being outside on a sunny day, weekends at the lake, date nights with my husband, spending time with my family, and my camera.
I’m addicted to Diet Coke, Facebook, Instagram, and the smell of Johnson’s Honey Apple baby wash.
I hate the smell (and taste) of coffee, folding and putting away laundry, having a messy house (though I also hate cleaning it), people who are dishonest, my crooked nose, and rush hour traffic.
I’m a little quiet and shy when I meet someone new, but once I get to know you I’ll talk your ear off.
I’m a weird mix of logical and creative. Sometimes one wins over the other. Other times they mix together quite nicely.
I have been fascinated by photography since I was a kid, but never really pushed myself to learn about it until I wanted to take better photos of my own kids. I always wanted to be one of those yearbook kids who walked around with a camera all the time in high school. I love the combination of technical details mixed with unlimited creativity. When I don’t have my camera with me, I always wish I did.
I treasure my kids and my family above all else. They are the reason and the inspiration for everything I do.
